Jeff Fetterman is a
singer/songwriter who is a
native of Bradford,
Pennsylvania. He is a self-
taught guitarist who has
been playing since he was
twelve years old and who
had his first paying job at
thirteen. By sixteen he was
opening for bands like
Three Dog Night. Jeff is a
blues rock guitarist who
plays from the heart.
Currently, Jeff has put
together a band under his
own name to perform his
original music in a variety
of venues. Jeff's goal is
to have a music industry
career because he feels
that 'music is the only
thing that completes me
wholly.' He has managed to
pursue his love of music
through the writing of
original lyrics and music
and recording two
independently released
CD's: last year's release
Ordinary Man and the
recently released The Long
Hard Road. Three songs from
The Long Hard Road have
been signed by Transition
Music Corporation of
Hollywood, California, a
publishing company which
will shop the songs to be
used in both film and
television world wide. The
past success of Ordinary
Man includes the winning of
a contest at Ohio radio
station WREO where the
title track was chosen for
the compilation disc the
Northcoast's Greatest Hits
and Jeff named as best
upcoming artist. Byron Nash
of Pittsburgh's Rock n Roll
Reporter states, 'If
there's anything to be said
about the nitty-gritty
sounds of Jeff Fetterman's
debut Ordinary Man, it is
that he can actually play a
guitar...[his] honesty and
heart prevail through his
music, proving he's
an 'ordinary man' with a
passion for rock'n roll.'
Jeff's musical influences
of Bruce Springsteen,
Stevie Ray Vaughan, and
Jimi Hendrix are evident in
his own writings. Jeff's
hope is to continue to
write music and lyrics that
will reach out to touch the
lives of people in their
everyday, ordinary facets
of life. |
